Pathway Outreach Ministries’ Monthly Update
Happy belated Fourth of July to you! I wrote this letter prior to July 4th but I know the mailing will not reach you until later. Whenever I have traveled beyond our borders it has always been a sigh of relief and blessing to disembark from the plane and step on American soil. My wife and I have an inside joke when I make my first call from a US airport, my words are these, “I could hitchhike from here if I had to.” It is a real paradox that those on the outside of our country are clamoring to enter, while many on the inside are too eager to disparage it.
We have had some sadness on the home-front. We said goodbye to my brother, Oscar Whitt, who died this past month. Oscar was 74 years old and greatly loved by all. We also said goodbye to a Pathway supporter and home church member, Nancy Smith, who was 71 and a precious lady. Both seemed too young to die but that is not in my department to determine. I had a part in both funeral services where we celebrated their lives and praised our risen Lord who gives us assurance of eternal life to those who believe in Jesus.
Thanks to all who helped us with the Haiti School Uniform and Book project. It gives our kids in Haiti a good start in the upcoming school year. You all jumped onboard with this project with very little prodding from us. Thank you for the blessing and encouragement.

Mary Emily Royal and her family from Sardis City did a lemonade stand in June that will provide a generous amount of funding for our school in Haiti. Mary will be a sophomore at Auburn this autumn but she has been doing this since she was an eight year old in elementary school. Thank you Mary Emily!
I greatly appreciate each one of you who gives to this work and prays. You are a collective
body of saints who give with a heart of Christian love. Every month when I prepare the mailout of letters and receipts, it causes a great wave of thanksgiving in my heart when I see your names. There are many other good places you could send your donations but God has quickened your heart to send to Pathway Outreach Ministries. I am very humbled by this.
Then I am blessed and humbled on the other end as well. I get to see the good accomplished in the far dark corners of the world where the light of the Gospel of Jesus glows and the poor are fed. Many times in prayer, God has directed me not to worry and fret. Just do what is right in His eyes, walk in obedience with Him, and He will supply what is needed.

I am surrounded. I hold a reverential responsibility in each hand—one to the supporters of this ministry and one with those whom we partner in the Gospel. I stand on the sure promises of God and covered from above by His glorious presence. It is a wonderous bubble that I am careful not to pop!

Rejoicing in the salvation which is by grace through faith, I am…
Yours on the Journey,
Harry L. Whitt
