Journey Update: May 2023

Pathway Outreach Ministries’ Monthly Update

For most of us the world around is different than we have ever seen. According to the world, the rules have changed but according to God’s Word; He has not changed nor has His principles of living. I have been praying diligently this year for a move of God in my life and for the culture around us. We need another Great Awakening birthed by the Spirit of God in the hearts of men. I have been praying, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” That is a good place to start.

Thanks and appreciation to all who support this ministry. You are a literal answer to prayer. This is our usual fund-raising strategy—pray, believe, and wait upon God. It has worked for us for twenty-nine years. I do ask for a few things such as uniforms and books for our students.

School Uniforms: The insecurity and violence in Haiti is similar to a warzone. In spite of the many challenges, we forge ahead. Pastor Baptiste, the school staff, and church workers continue to do all they can to make our church/school campus an oasis from the turmoil.

At the end of July, we will need to purchase the fabric for the school uniforms and order the school books for next school year. It takes about $15/student to get them started in a new school year ($150 will help 10 students). We have over 400 students so this is a huge project. Please consider helping. Donations of any amount need to be made payable to Pathway Outreach Ministries and note with the donation for “UNIFORMS”. You may also donate online through our website: PathwayOutreach.org for your convenience.

Book Update: (Journey of the Messiah: The Awakening) We had a wonderful book launch and book signing at New Life Christian Center on April 16fth and then another great book signing at Pleasant Valley FCM Church the following Sunday. I sold out of my first book order. My second order has just arrived. Thanks so much for all who have purchased a book.

There are three book signings in May: Jamoka’s (Downtown Area, Albertville) on Thursday, May 11, from 10 am-12 noon. Lambert’s Bibles and Gifts (Elizabeth St., Boaz) on Saturday, May 20, 11 am-1 pm. Eglise Porte Etroite (Haitian Church on Rose Rd., Albertville) on Sunday, May 21 , I will be preaching and signing books at the end of the service. If you would like to have a book signing in June, contact me. If you live outside of our area, you can order a book at WestBowPress.com (See the QR code below; choose USPS Regular Mail for free shipping) or Amazon.

CrossWalk: We had a wonderful CrossWalk on Good Friday, April 7th except for one mishap. One of our cross-bearers hurt his leg and recently needed surgery. He is recovering and will be fine soon. Pray for him. I appreciate all who helped with the trek from Gadsden to Guntersville and for the encouragement along the way.

We appreciate your prayers and financial support of our work in the Gospel.
Rejoicing in the salvation which is by grace through faith, I am…

Yours on the Journey,

Harry L. Whitt
